Was owned by large breeds before (Golden Retrievers and Samoyeds) and now am owned by a little Sheltie named Blaze. (Sorry no pictures at this time--just picked him up Wednesday and well, I've been "busy". LOL) His breeder notes that he is sable, but he seems a dark sable to me with a white breast and front legs and of course, the blaze.
Blaze is just six weeks old (will be seven weeks on Tuesday) and weighs a whopping three pounds. I thought I "puppy proofed", but I've been shown that wasn't completely the case. A three pound puppy can squeeze into places that I hadn't thought of and most of my daytime inside is spent in "where's the puppy" (yes, he has a crate, but it seems like he likes to store his toys there and nap behind my couch!) and my outside with him is constantly taking moss, leaves, grass, pine cones out of his little mouth.
Nighttime is actually okay. He sleeps well in a little travel crate in husband's and my bedroom. I just set the alarm twice during the night to bring him outside to potty and poop (which he practically does on command--only at night it seems so I just must have accidentally gotten his right schedule).
Well, I bet my little one will be waking from his nap in a little bit and be starting his "zoomies" once again.

Sable has many hues and tones, and puppy fuzz can be replaced by different adult coloring. 3 lbs is where my girls started, I love them at that stage, so cute and cuddly. And you have a taste tester too, good luck there
