Hello

My two are 4 months apart and I got them when they were 9 weeks old each. I loved it and still love it. They are the best of friends and love to play together.
My last sheltie was 13lbs soaking wet and under 13". Maia who is 1 now, is 14 3/4" and weighs 16.5 lbs and Chinook who is also the same height as Maia is overweight at 20lbs! (currently on a diet not to his liking of course)

Chinook and Maia both had a 'best friend' that was a black dashhound until I moved :( they loved playing with her.
 
Sheltie Lover!

Hi Everyone!
I have been reading all the posts and learning so much that I decided to post tonight.
Cooper is our precious sheltie who is 10 months old!
We had another sheltie who got canine lymphoma at only 4 years old
and we had to put him down..it was heartbreaking and the saddest thing we've ever had to do. After 7 months we decided we needed another sheltie and decided to get Cooper and boy is he fun..we are constantly laughing at him and his silly ways! I laughed when I read all the silly habits of shelties-Cooper has too many to mention- believe me.
I could not imagine life without sheltie hair!
