Hello :)

oh there you are!
Welcome to the Forums, I enjoyed your contributions to the Agility section immensely already! Thanks for the photos, I love all your pretty Shelties, past and present :)

I, myself am brand spanking new to Agility since May and Sheltie owner for 2 years ... fast becoming a staunch supporter of both... lol Okay and positive enforcement/clicker training. Addictive stuff, all that!!
Glad to have you on board

Congrats! Once you get the agility bug there's no turning back ;)

Heather, welcome!
I am in very beginning of our agility road, Che just had his first birthday but he LOVES his agility so we hope to have many happy years there. Recently we had addition of puppy Leo who promises to be very fast pocket rocket and is going to drive his humans nuts/ in a good way/
Thank you for sharing your agility experience!

Welcome!

My name is Margaret and I'm an agility addict. My Phebe is 20 months old, and we'll be competing in our 3rd AKC trial this coming weekend. So far, we've completed Phebe's NAJ and earned one leg for NA. I'm hoping that we'll be in ExA by the end of the year.

that's the first step- admitting that you have an addiction

Welcome to the Forum. I loved the pictures, especially the one of Trax on the go.:smile2:

I have done a bit of agility with my Revel and would like to do a bit more but it is tough finding the time at the moment. Luckily he is very fit and active so come the spring we might do a bit, just for fun. Mostly he has done obedience and confirmation shows. Yogi is just confirmation although he has done a little obedience. He is too wild for agility and if I taught him to jump my rabbits might not be safe:no:
Hopefully my next pup will be an all rounder too.

I'm sure you'll find this forum is as addictive as agility!!

Welcome! Loved the pics. Especially the one of Trax on the tear, a good sense of speed in that shot.

Trax is my super duper fast dog and on top of that he's also very large. His official measurement with AKC is 18.38" so as of right now he's competing at 20" against the border collies and other large dogs, but he does really well. That being said he just got his first challenge measurement a few weeks ago right at 18" so with one more measurement at 18" or under and he'll be able to finally jump with his Sheltie friends! And yes, he has no fear. That picture of him on the dog walk is a welcome change because he's fallen off of the dog walk so many times(because he's crazy! lol) it's surprising that he's not broken bones by now! He must bounce well or something :biggrin2:

Thanks for the welcome everyone :)
