Hi Everyone, I'm From Melbourne, Australia

Welcome to you and Georgia.... I have to say that you have wonderful taste in dogs AND great taste in names... Georgia is my "human" daughter's name!! :biggrin2:

Welcome to the forum. She is a beauty. I have a year-old sable female (Emma) and just got her tri-coloured nephew almost two weeks ago.

Welcome to the Nation! What an absolutely stunning girl!!! And her expression -- it's to die for!!

awww, she's precious!
Is she also a little fire cracker like Juliet? lol Welcome to the Forums!
I am sure you and your hubby will get everything he had wished for in a Sheltie and then some :) :biggrin2:
They are THE best

Oh yes, she is definitely full of herself.. LOL She has a best friend in my youngest cat Gizmo, definitely a love affair going on there. There is mutual grooming between the two, many games of chasey around the house and just generally lots of fun. Georgia particularly likes to try and round him up, but he's not bothered. I tried to get some pics of the duo this week, I did get a couple, but their not very good.

And yes my hubby loves HIS girl, I think more than me at times. She is SO excited when he gets home from work, and she rolls on her back like a little tart, he loves every minute of it. She's very much his girl, even though I do EVERYTHING for her.... oh well, its lovely to see.

Yeah, I love her face too. She was destined to be a show dog and the breeder decided to run her sister Secret on instead. Secret is doing very well in the show ring aparantly...

I'd been waiting for this litter to be born before they were even conceived. Then when the breeder told me she didn't have a puppy for us, I was devestated. But I knew she'd kept the two girls, and I kept emailing her and telling her that one of them was mine... hee hee, both were tri girls... my patience and nagging paid off. One night an email came, asking if we would like to adopt Georgia.........

Well hubby and I were doing cartweels, we'd waited approx 6 months for our little one and couldn't be happier. She's such a happy and outgoing little Miss. There's not much she's scared of. I've had her out and about virtually from the day she arrived. We've now made quite a few sheltie friends both locally and via the net. If you can't tell I do love talking about my little girl.

awwwwwww
won't you guys be the perfect fit for this forum!
lol
there is NOTHING we like better than talking about our Shelties, for the most part :biggrin2:

Hi guys,

I just joined up today. We have our first ever sheltie pup. Her name is Georgia and she's a very pretty tri-coloured 9 month old girl. My hubby was the one who introduced me to the breed, he met one when he was a kid and has wanted one for the last 30 years. This year his wish became a reality and we welcomed our little girl into the family. We also share our lives with three beautiful indoor cats and of course I can't forget the two human kids.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Cheers,
Michelle
