Thanks for the kind welcome. Her registered name is Wandren Park As You Like It and her call name is Phebe after the shepherdess in the Shakespeare play.

Tomorrow Phebe arrives and it will be 3 weeks to the day since I had to put down my dear friend, Foxy, at the age of 17. That was probably the hardest thing I've ever done, and if someone had tried to tell me that I would be getting a new puppy this soon, I never would have believed it possible.

I rescued Foxy more than 15 years ago. She was a mahogany sable Sheltie mix and my constant companion, even going to work with me most of the time. Here's a link to photo of her from October 2008.

DD I am so glad you joined here. I do agree I was a little surprised you got another dog, since I know how special Foxy was to you and how hard it was to think about another dog in your life right now. I am glad you found this beautiful little girl though
 
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Foxy. She had a great long life with you and is waiting for you at the bridge. She was a pretty girl!!
 
Hello and welcome! Foxy was a beautiful dog - and boy did she ever resemble a lion! Congratulations on getting a new puppy. I cannot wait to see the pictures.
