Where in Canada are you? I live in Ottawa with my three boys (one tri, one sable and one human)

This is a great spot for new Sheltie owners. We have many fascinating discussions about poop, poop and more poop (and poop chutes too!).

Some of our members like to dress their dogs in costumes, and this caused the pups to create a union - The SUBU (Sheltie Union Bargaining Unit) - though they've been pretty quiet lately. (Must mean trouble).

Joining as a premium member (only $25 per year), really helps out the forum and keeps it going for all of us.

hey barb! i'm in ottawa as well pretty far out in the country though i live on a farm on the oustskirts of the city

There are now a few of us in Ottawa - we should arrange a puppy play date sometime! Summer is tough for me though because I go to the cottage every weekend, but who knows.....
 
yes barb haha that would be fun Riley needs to be socialized a bit with other dogs. My parents have 3 so i usually bring him over to visit. so far he loves the golden retriever they are best buds, and he likes the german shepard too even though she's in her senior years she still plays with him. Its funny their shih tzu is the only problem one hwas having nothing to do with riley and his puppyish ways he went right into attack mode so we can't let them see eachother again. so far though Riley loves dog's though he was at my boyfrineds house a few weeks back tormenting their dogs aswell :)

Photobucket is ok,if you want to deal with the pop up ads.You may want to check out Shutterfly.no pop ups,and you can even create your very own mini site in a matter of less than an hour.
