She is beautiful, I am so happy that you rescued her, how sad that some folks abuse their sweet animals like she was, now, she will be loved.

I will admit I've been overwhelmed at times, wondering if I could do this. Thank goodness the rescue recommended obedience class. It's helping me as much as it is her. This week the instructor told me to think of Lucy as a 6 1/2 year old puppy. I have to socialize & train her. I have taught her "off" for when she jumps on me, and she has almost perfected the sit command.

It's worth the work, Lucy is a gem.
