Welcome to the forum DeeDee from Aust. How wonderful that there are people like you out there to give these furkids a second chance!!

I guess we are lucky here in Oz as although we have a Rescue officer for Shelties in each of our State Breed Clubs it is not very often that a sheltie needs to find a new home here.. The dumpage rate of Shelties are very low. It usually only occurs under exceptional circumstances and in these cases the shelties have usually been well cared for but cannot stay with the present owner.
 
Hello and welcome! As you can see, this is a great forum with wonderful people. You did a wonderful thing adopting. I am patiently waiting for pictures!!!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, Could some one please tell me how to insert a picture on the posts, I have a photobucket accout and pictures in my computer too, so if you will instruct me as to how you do it you will be able to see what they look like soon.

PS. I see some of you have a avatar, I clicked on the edit avatars in my CP. but can't figure out how to add a avatar of my dogs to it, Help please.

Hi Dee Dee! To have an avatar you need to be a premium member which is $25.00 for a year. If you want to show pictures you can post links to your photobucket album but again, if you are a premium member you can post them directly to the thread. Hope that helps. Have a great day!
