Hi from Indiana!

You are so right Tesslynn! Having a puppy again is nothing like I remembered! I'm constantly thinking "I don't remember this with my other pups"! What's up with that? Lol! She's a sweetheart though and super intelligent. She's not what you'd call affectionate, yet, but she does like to be in our laps. First dog I've ever had to leap into my lap!

Congratulations! Be sure to add her to the who's who class of 2014 post if you haven't already. We have a lot of puppies born in 2014.

I am sorry to hear about your losses in 2012. I lost 2 Aussies 8 months apart in 2011 with a pup acquired in between. My shepherd was an easy easy puppy. Cubby was a bit more challenging but I think he turned out well.

Have a delightful time with your new baby. Spoil her sweet and keep the pix coming. Those of us with nearly all-grown up pups need some doses of cuteness.

Kaleigh is my affectionate one, much of her bonding with me I think was due to being a one pup litter. Savannah is coming up on 6 mths and she didn't really start out that affectionate...she is my challenge and monster pup, but now she is becoming more of a cuddle muffin. Kaleigh turns "1" on valentine's day...and glad she is through puppyhood, now if I can get Savannah there w/o too many more issues, I will feel as though I arrived and it was worth it. They get along well, and play well, so it does help. But some days it is like having opposing tornados going through your home.

Welcome to the forum. Your little one is too cute! I look forward to the stories. And yes, dogs make us forget puppies. But who can resist their sweet faces? PS. I'm in Sheridan. So not too far from Indy.
