Our Shelti ( Benji ) is now thirteen weeks old.
Would veggie treats be ok at this age.
We were trying to curb his hunger, he is now on 1 1/2 cups of dry dog food.
The dog food is a very good quality ( no grain ).

Welcome William and Benji!! We feed "fill ups" of frozen green beans and broccoli. I'm sure a bit will be fine. I love Canadian dog foods for our Shelties -- well worth the shipping!!

Welcome from the Niagara area. Can't wait to see pix of your pups.

All my dogs love fruits and veggies. My Noah used to stand and wait for the frozen fruits and wait patiently by the counter for the salad ingredients. Emma and Liam check out the veggies drawers in the fridge every time it is opened.

Welcome to the forum! We love pictures, especially puppies!! Anytime you change diet in any way, do it very gradually....

Benji,s Diet

Thanks for your helpful info on Benji,s diet.
We are easing Benji into veggies and fruit, but not entirely away from
dry dog food. He still recieves almost two cups a day.
Benji is very active so this extra ration should not hurt him.

Just make sure you include everything he gets into his caloric intake for the day. Once he is older, you will find you can cut back on the quantity of food.
