Hi, I'm new here...

She's beautiful! You may be my inspiration. I got one, but she was miserable being alone in my house after living in a kennel situation during her career. So after a few months, I got her nephew. She was immediately a much happier dog...but she likes to play, and nephew isn't a big frolic-er, so I'm thinking she may need a more playful friend.

totally happy to inspire more sheltie love:yes:

what part of PA are you in?- we competed in an agility trial in State College earlier this month:smile2:

Way-eastern PA--Yardley.

This will be a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway. How much of a time commitment is agility? I'm interested in it for my dogs, but time is a scarce commodity.

How beautiful! Three, huh? I sometimes toy with the idea of a third, and then think I might be crazy...

I have three (some days I think I lost my mind). Both Liam and Natalie were given to me by the breeder. So I have Emma and her nephew and niece.

well, depending on how old your dog is- you start with basics. no real jumping until dog is over a year old. we practice couple hours a week. I have some jumps and a set of weave poles in the back yard and depending on weather, we try to do that every evening for 5-10 min/per dog. see that's my problem, I have two 2.5 yr old dogs and we are all green with newness. so we need more time than someone working only one dog. we've been to 6 trials in all, 3 Nadac and 3 AKC. so that's about 6 weekends and two were trials that we traveled to go there.
I guess it depends on how serious you are - if you just want to play and exercise or if you want to compete......

you should post in the agility section and get more info from people who have more experience..........
