Hi! Sammi the sheltie

Thanks everyone. Yes, I agree, that would be great to get together in Flemmington. We live just down the river in Roebling!

It's a coinsidence that so many have mentioned that Sammi has a "shephard" look. I too have thought german shephard sometimes when I look at her in certain ways. I have tried to track down her parents and/or the breeders but no luck. Does anyone know what physical traits are Shephard and which ones are Sheltie? Is there any way to tell what her blood line is without seeing her parents?
I did call the pet shop to ask for more info about Sammi, and was told that all of their records say that she is a full Sheltie and not a mix. Is there any way to tell for sure?
 
They do have DNA tests for dogs. I am not sure how accurate they are, or how expensive they are.

I used to work on an old Amoco site many moons ago on Route 130 South in Florence (I did environmental consulting), I do believe that was near Roebling.

I was going to say the same thing, she definitely looks like she has some german shepherd in her with her coloring and facial features.
