I'm from Michigan and my hubby and I have 2 Shelties, Sparky, a six year old tri, and Max (short for Maxwell), a one year old sable. And we're "sitting" a chocolate Lab-Sharpai mix (Disco) for our nephew.

In the past, we had 2 Shelties, Rusty (sable) and Taylor (tri) who have gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. We've also owned Rotties, Spud, Sable and Diamond (they're at the Rainbow Bridge), at the same time and all got along just fine.

All of our kids have been rescues which makes them even more special. I've sent a photo of Sparky to the Sheltie Nation (not posted yet) and will send one of Max. Max especially has "the look", LOL!

Hi there. I am a newbie too, and this has helped me so much. This is the 1st sheltie I had, and it boggles my mind at how smart she is! So welcome to my northern neighbor! ( I am in Wisconsin)

I'm Tiffany and I am new too. I have a supposed Sheltie mix named Gray Dawntreader. He is my first Sheltie that I have owned, but I have met some others down in my town and several of my relatives either have had or know someone who has a Sheltie.:winkgrin:
 
We are newbies too

I am Catherine, the human and Bram is my beloved Tri-boy.
I will work at getting a picture of him submitted. It is a joy seeing the other postings and reading about other Sheltie exploits.
We live in Nashville and haven't met many other Shelties friends, but we do have almost daily playtime with the Boarder Collie and Besingi (sp?) on the street.
Bram is my third Sheltie boy and currently the only dog in the home. I dearly love the breed and only wish I could have more babies.

My family and boyfriend live in the Nashville area. We should arrange a play date sometime when I'm in town, usually two weekends of the month. My little one loves most other dogs, but other shelties are her favorite and we don't encounter too many of those at the dog park.

I love dogs and I can't see myself without them, as I know you all feel the same, otherwise we wouldn't be here talking them up, LOL!

I just bought a new camera and I'm taking pics left and right of the Boys, Sparky and Max. Soon, my friends, you'll see my babies!
