Welcome! Beautiful dogs - I too love the one of Aztec in the pines and Laika is beautiful too - stunning blue eyes! I like their names :wink2:.

3. I feel the exact same way...I love my big dogs, but after Caliber, I don't think I could ever own another breed. They really are one of a kind. And only us Sheltie owners know what that's all about. They're goofy, loving, SMART, loyal, and there's nothing at all I would change about them.

Oh yes...and not to mention they're a COMPLETE show stopper. I can't go anywhere without at least ONE person stop me to ask about him. It's nice but at the same time a shame that they're not as well known as most breeds(at least they aren't here in Ontario).

They are a bit more common here, but it is more his color people find unusual. Most of the time you find sables around here. People at the park always seem to get a kick out of him. He likes to stop at every park bench and visit with people. He tends to just stand there wagging his tail like he is giving them permission to worship him. :lol:
 
Zack and Riley are both very handsome shelties! I like the bigger shelties, because I feel they take on a more collie-like appearence.
 
I like the bigger cuz they have the collie personality, my Zack who is 18 3/8 is the most mello guy he is willing to do just about anything but don't disturb his sleep he'll just get up and find another quiet spot. He is very friendly and so is Riley. but Riley is a tad nervous being tested, like CGC or around sheep he just pees if it's outdoors.
 
Aztec can be very mellow, he loves to just lay in my lap, but his herding intinct can unleash a monster sometimes. :biggrin2:
