HI

Pamela

hello guys,
I'm originally from East Lansing, Muchigan, though my family's from Superior,Wisconsin. I've been living in Brazil for many years now, and my first Sheltie (Connor) arrived home last Wednesday! Yes,I know it's and Irish name for a Scottish dog-I didn't know that at the time-thought about the highlander and that was it. I visited him at the Kennel where he was born when he was 3 weeks old and I just knew he was the one (so did my husband). I spent 5 weeks dreaming about him arriving here... and now that he's here, I'm just impressed-he's already pottry trained-took us 24 hours- has learned hot to ask with his front paw and is starting to fetch-although he sometimes fails to bring the object-he reaches it aand runs back-which is even cuter!! I'll have many questions while he grows :confused2: and I'm really happy to have found this forum-although the Kennel's owner answers e-mails and offers all the support needed!!! I guess that's it!!!

welcome to sheltie nation and the best website/forum/community for shelties and their owners. feel free to ask most anything and there WILL be multiple answers.

Hello Pam!!! I'm new here also, and I really enjoy it!! I like knowing I'm not the only person who lives and breathes my Shelties!!

Welcome to the forum and welcome Conner, neat name by the way and a Chris said there is nothing like bring them home on the first day. Hope you share pics soon.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on Connor! It sounds like he's a very lucky sheltie to have found such a loving home! :smile2: Can't wait to see pix!
