Hiding Everything They Own!

I wondered if Ella was just a 'special' girl aside from her coloring and wanted to see if other people have the same habits.

Ella loves to play, constantly. She is not a lap dog my any means, and constantly is playing in the house, whether it is with me and our makeshift agility course, or just having fun.

But, when she is playing with herself, she CONSTANTLY, ALWAYS, CAN'T STOP pushing her toys under things, behind things, ontop of things, so that she cannot get them. Her favorite is pushing her nylabone underneath the TV entertainment center, or underneath the coffee table. She does this with EVERY toy she has. Quite literally.

Then, when it is under the table, she lies on her side and just scratches, and scratches, and scratches, and sometimes can wiggle herself under the couch and disappears under there to find it.

Does anyone else's sheltie do this? It's cute, when I'm not sitting trying to do work all the time. =)

My kia is no lap dog either. She loves to play and can't get enough of it. She hides some toys but if she can't retrieve it on her own she will lay there and whimper. They are characters aren't they. It's just their way of keeping themselves and you on your toes !!:rolleyes2: Welcome to the forum by the way and Pictures, I would love to see how beautiful you precious little, Ella is.

Smoke does the exact same thing with his toys, maybe it is a color headed white thing

He'll put the toy under the furniture and then lay down on his side and scratch at the furniture and carpet trying to get the toy back. Sometimes he does even manage to wriggle himself under there and get the toy back out. He can also remember toys that have been hidden for weeks and he starts up the scratching routine when he decides he wants them back. I'll think hes lost his little mind until I look underneath and find a ball or squeaky toy

Sadie doesn't do this with every toy she owns anymore but she did when she was a pup. NOw she only does it when she's playing with a toy that she can roll, mostly balls. I try to keep her out of the living room but she always ends up with them under the couch, love seat or something else that she can't get under.

My husband and I some times laugh until we almost cry because she'll lie down on her side and wiggle her body under furniture to try and retrieve things and get so far under the furniture that she gets stuck with just the ends of her feet sticking out. She's gotten stuck under the bed in the middle of the night too doing who knows what.

Pictures!

She is stunning! I love her coloring, absolutely beautiful. I especially like the photo of her on the bed - if it wasn't for her beautiful head, you would not see her! Thanks
