Prince is a good looking fellow and is not to far. I think Calliesmom went to LA to herd if I remember correct. Even though we are both in AL she is probably hours closer to y'all (we are at extreme opposites in the state :( )

Prince says: "thanks for the compliment. I am working on mom & dad and i am determined to find me some sheep and soon!"

What terrific pictures! It's so neat seeing Shelties do what they were meant to do...you can tell they know it!

Yeah- Sheep and Sca are Yankees and live way up north in Alabama
If I remember - you are near New Iberia- not sure how far that is from Amite. There was a herding trial in Dec in Amite- but we were in PA for the holidays. There is supposed to be another trial in March and I want to get the pups working on their herding instinct certificate there - then maybe at the next trial or two down the road- work into the real herding competitions

Cran's expression is priceless. Loved all the pics must have been a fun day for all.

Cran is a fool for sheep - a lot of what we worked on that weekend was some self-control. get in sight of the sheep and have Cran sit or lay down and behave. He actually did better at that than I thought that he would  but we do need more sheep time :(
