Not so sure about the bitter apple. I put it on the vacuum to deter Deska and it made no difference to him but I was tasting bitter apple for the rest of the week! Not a good idea to put it onto something you will touch yourself - blah it tastes awful! Plus she may just go to another part of the wall to chew.
 
We used the bitter apple spray when my puppy would chew the door frame but it didn't work too well. Our puppy Riley seemed to love that stuff!
 
Paladin did it first as he was older, I believe he taught Maverick. I used Bitter Yuck and they stopped. It was definitely a teething thing. I did have to apply it a couple of days in a row.
