Hooray for Harrisburg!

Imagine being in California and getting up to watch - with an earthquake!!!

I am enjoying the live streaming, I started watching on an Ipod, then laptop and now I want the big tv screen... :)

I am getting a lot of knitting done on my sweater while I watch. dishes and laundry can wait...

I am honored that all of you were cheering for Davina and I!

Davina and I didn't make the first list because it's based on the accumulation of OTCh points. We had just earned our OTCh last November so there certainly wasn't enough time to earn the necessary points. For shelties, the point accumulation was roughly 300, that is 3 OTChs! Davina and I earned an invitation by placing 3rd at one and 2nd at another Regional Qualifier, there are 11 throughout the country. No doubt we certainly qualified to get an invitation! Only if the entries are lower than the AKC accepts, then they offer invites to those with lower OTCh points, say 200.

It is such an honor to get an invite to compete with the best of the best.

Thank you for supporting Davina and I.

Dani

It was such a fantastic event, in my small little youtube window, I got to see first hand behind the curtain of the NOC. I have had it all a little confused, this change from NOI and Classic to NOC... but I'm getting it together!

What a production! Saturday was a LONG day but everyone handled it with grace and style!

I saw the most beautiful handling, and dogs! Your team was my favorite, I got so excited! I love Davina, she has energy and enthusiasm so much like my boy. Of course, we lack the precision ya'll have....

It was so special of AKC to let us look, and I think it will make us all appreciate even more the special talents it takes to get to OTCh and beyond!

Welcome HOME!!! If I had ticker tape.... :)

it was very cool- though it seemed that I missed most of the shelties....
will have to try and watch the video and see if I can see some of the shelties
