House training regression

After months of not having any accidents Lacey has been pooping in the house again. She is just a year old and has been perfect until the last week.
Could all the fireworks be upsetting her? She does not seem to be bothered by them and just barks at a few and then stops. It's puzzling and I can't figure out what else could be bothering her.

Maybe because we are working hard to try to stop some annoying behaviors and telling her to stop or leave it more than we did in the past? She is not allowed to jump on the shower door when we are getting in or cleaning off the glass and not allowed to bite and bark at me when I walk out the door. She is doing much better at stopping those behaviors and is so much nicer to live with, but is this maybe stressing her? She is even getting better at not attacking the vacuum as long as I have her leashed and keep her away while DH vacuums. The broom is off limits as well. Its a lot all at once for her, but she is learning to "leave it"

Sometimes you can not understand what goes on between those ears...

My boy Logan pooped in the house overnight and has taken to not poop out in the yard except in the mornings... Otherwise, I have to walk him to get him to go! This is NEVER a problem in Spring, Winter, or Fall. JUST SUMMER! :gaah

He has a beautiful green grass garden to relive himself...

Maybe Lacey and Logan are conspiring against us to drive us crazy? :gaah
:yuckyuck

BTW, Logan is 10!

ghggp - it's exactly the same with Minnie she does absolutely not her business in the garden, either in our townhouse or here in the big garden by our house at the beach.

So I also have to go for walks before she doing something :biggrin2:

(However, she has never done anything inside the houses :hugs)

Colonel Underpants started doing "it" inside after we got Loki. Loki, my DS's new Papillion boy, is being housebroken, and Beckon would mark over where Loki went. Once we realized Loki wasn't housebroken at all (!!!), we took him back to Housebreaking 101 (on leash or in the crate). I shampooed all the carpets, and now we're fine again. Whew!!

I am right here with you guys now! Had very few accidents but she has suddenly gone sly and has had two accidents in two days.

Part of the problem is that she invented a rule that she can't leave our back porch without permission. Discovered that one this morning. Don't know why she came up with that, but she did LOL.

Back to house training 101 for us.

I am sure that the fireworks did not help. I would just go back to basics for a little bit and it will help Lacey get back in the habit.

I really think it was the fireworks upsetting her. Since they have pretty much quieted down she is back to normal and not using the guest bedrooms as her pooping area.
