How Do/Does Your Sheltie/Shelties Awaken You?

Wake Up!

Riley is only 5 months, so he is still sleeping in his kennel. But recently we've been letting him sleep in our bed on the weekends. We will wake up suddenly and realize it's 8am and that we better let him out.... Or he'll cry if he has to go outside earlier.
But if you're trying to take a nap during the day, Good luck. He just play nips any body part he can find. Until you give up and wake up.
 
Dasher gives a bark to let us know>>>>>.......

Hi all,
Dashee ( nick name ) usually sleeps through the night in the bed with us. However some times he has to go out to the bathroom. In this case he goes down the ramp at the end of the bed and gives a Bark to let one of us know, "Hey I have to go pee".:wink2:
Then I usually am the one to get up and out he goes. As soon as he's done he comes back in and up the ramp and back to bed.
Such a spoiled good boy.:lol:
BTW, our Chihuahua sleeps behind my pillow on another pillow in bed too.
Rascal ( Yorkie ) sleeps in his carrier at the top of the ramp so he can see every one in bed. It makes him feel he is sleeping in bed with all of us too.:rolleyes2:
Mischa (cat) sometimes sleeps on top of Rascals carrier ontop of a mat just for her.
Aren't our pets cute. They are our kids. Just have four legs instead of two.:yes:
 
Our girls prefer what we call the *LBOP* method...It stands for *little box of puppies* - they wine and cry when they hear my very first movement after 6:45 a.m. & then I get up and let them out. They then MUST accompany me while I have my morning coffee - which is preceded by them doing a chase of their own tail when I actually pour the coffee into the cup??? Never a dull moment I tell you.

I can so picture that! :lol:

I swear the older Sadie gets the more she chases her tail, its something she seems to be growing into instead of out of :lol:

LOL, I was treated to a pointy Sheltie nose in the left eye the other day when Max (needle nose) decided he wanted me up and his nose and my eye collided!:lol:
 
I always wake up before Jack does. He sleeps longways on the bed between my husband and me (fortunately on a king-sized mattress!) He inches his way up during the night until his head is on a pillow. Smart boy!

Max, our 16 month old sable Sheltie, found a new way to awaken me-peeing on the carpet if I don't respond to his kissies, nibbles and laying over my legs! :biggrin2:

I can't be mad at him, as he is very resourceful (like all Shelties), but I can guarantee you that I now jump up immediately when he starts with the kissies! Little bugger, so smart!:wink2:
