how do I get her to stay off the window sill

Thanks for all the suggestions. I really do not want to have to move the chair but if we have to that is what we will do. I like sitting on the chair too, even though Shelby gives you the evil eye when you are on her chair. If it were only me this would be one of those battles not worth fighting but I am not the one who has to sand and paint the windowsill when it gets scratched. Maybe will try the tape. Pennies do not phase her and I am afraid of the mouse traps.

MissSuzie that is a cute pic! She did try that once or twice when she was smaller. She scared herself when she got caught because she didn't know how to get down then she fell off. Now she is too big for that and has learned this instead.

Jomir-we call that dog art (nose prints) in our house. It is everywhere especially on the stainless fridge.:biggrin2:
It could be worse: http://www.sheltieforums.com/showpost.php?p=58099&postcount=72

Hilarious pics you guys...we don't have window sill or back-o-the sofa walking at our house. However did you train them to do this ?:wink2:

Shhepoftheblue - I have to take my complaint back after seeing that picture! And your pup looks a lot like our Shelby. Maybe it has to do with the color!

Well I decided to put some pillows on the chair so she wouldn't sit on the chair. Problem solved! Why didn't I think of that a long time ago? Last weekend she didn't even notice the kids playing basketball in front of our house (until well after 1030 pm):gaah because she couldn't see them or hear them with the tv on.

 Who would have thought the solution was so easy!

Congrats on finding something that works.

I saw something else recently where they called it "dog art." I LOVE THAT! It makes me think I don't have to wash my windows at all. I don't want to destroy any art, after all!

My Pavi passed over the rainbow bridge just before Christmas last year. I have yet to wash his nose art off the storm doors. Olive's art is lower as she is smaller. I kind of like seeing it all there...
