How do you attach a dog tag to a martingale?

I put the tag on the loop that I attach the leash to. It actually helps me find the loop to attach the leash, because the chain is always buried in the fur!
 
I don't have Bailey's tags on her martingale. When I walk her, she wears a standard nylon buckle collar with her dogs tags and her martingale with just the leash attached.

In the house, she wears a different buckle collar with no tags, but has her name and my cell phone # embroidered on it. She has a wired crate, so I don't want her wearing dog tags in the house.
 
We put ID tags on the right loop; the personal jewel on the center loop; and the personal charm on the left loop. Don't say it -- I've already heard it all. :lol:
 
Thanks you guys! It is about time we got Sandstorm a tag, and put his rabies vac on it too. Our old dog always managed to get them off!!

I guess I'm thinking of what I've always done when I've found a dog. The first thing I've done is go to the local vet and have them scan the dog for a microchip and that's what alot of people in my area do. With a large park right next to my complex there are always lost dogs around. I think all the dogs run there because that's where their families take them to play. So it's like I'm free!!!! I'll go to the park and find my dog friends:lol:
 
Our boys are microchipped, carry their licenses as well as their Canine Recovery tags (AKC CAR), Microchip # tags, and to me most importantly...have another ID that has their name, phone number, and address on it (made at Petsmart). I want to know that if they ever did get out...they have EVERY chance of finding their way back to us.

Ha! It's so true! Bacca somehow lost his name tag, but Indy still has his. Every time who goes to the dish, you can hear the clang, clang, clang!
