How do you get them to be LESS friendly?

I read this in amazement and LOVE friendly Shelties... wanna switch for a month?? :biggrin2:

I know that friendly is definitely preferrable than the alternative... Of course I don't want him not to be friendly... It's just that we have lots of Asians in our neighbourhood and I know it's a stereotype… but they really do tend to be afraid of dogs. Miko means well, but his exhuberance isn't doing much to convince them that he means no harm. He is so friendly and good natured… I'd love for him to be an "ambassador" rather than "ambusher"!!

My dog is the same

And I love her for it! We are working on Therapy dog training, but she gets so focused on other dogs and wanting to play that we are having to go very slow, but she is such a happy dog...wouldn't trade her for the world!!
