How do you keep a Sheltie off the bed?

Raise the bed. We have a bed frame with drawers under it. Must be close to 4 feet off the floor. I know it sounds tall, but it does keep the kids on their own bed!

For now. My shelties especially Justice and Diva can easily jump 4 ft if motivated.:smile2:

Well, at 6 mo our boys don't have enough boing to get up on the bed. Actually they slept with us until about a month ago. I know that some think poorly of such, but it was the only way we could get 7 or 8 hours of sleep at night. It worked great. We were worried about the transition to the floor, but a couple of comfy dog beds from Costco and the move has been painless. I fell asleep with them one night last week and woke up with them in the morning....

Maggie loves sleeping on the bed... We were doing so well with crate training but she just looks too cute cuddled up on the pillow. Since I work only night shifts she is spoiled and gets the whole side of the bed. Then when I am finally home she jumps on the bed and looks at me as if to say "where the hell am i supposed to sleep?"
