How much do you turst your dog at start line?

Sharon, I am not sure what is the point of this thread/discussion. I get it, you have rock solid stays which you are very proud of. What I would like to hear is your particular experience, what and how you came to this, what helped you, mistakes you made etc. So other people can possibly benefit and learn.
I am not worried for the start line stays because I know what this behavior entails and how to train it. We are on a different ladder at competitive sports. I doubt I will ever compete more than few times a year. And no agility run is more important than need to maintain criteria. As Toffee's Mom dubbed "demigod" SG has her DVD Crate Games where for $30 one can follow and learn pretty darn solid stays. I get it, trial environment brings few separate challenges, like being thoughtful in drive and being able to perform under stress. This is something we are working on. I particularly do not like the situation with my friend neighbor's dogs because my boys and them have escalated fence fighting to the high high level of arousal. So I would love to see same solid stay I have in agility at my friend's house. So far it has been difficult. But I am working on it. To me it is not about trust I place in my dog but it is all about my training abilities and knowledge I have how to deal with particular problem.

This thread is about start line and how rock solid they are and how much of a lead out you can do.It may not seem important to you but it is to others. You dare ask me would I be willing to bet 1000 on it.Like I said anytime, anywhere and bring it on.I didn't have to pay 30.00 for a SG crate games dvd.I did it on my own.I am not gonna get into it with you as you have ever trialed and don't have a clue. When you start trialing then come talk to me.

Not the kind of friendly, helpful attitude that belongs here on this forum, Sharon. You are coming across as snotty and condescending to other members. Other members egging you on isn't appropriate either.

This site is about sharing, learning and mentoring others - a welcoming, friendly place. This thread is the opposite - full of snark.

If any of you can't be helpful, kind, or supportive, then don't post!
