How much will a puppy's personality change as he grows up?

OHHHHH you just filled in where Noah got that from!!!!!:rolleyes2:I have spots in my fence that are pulled in...he will stand there and pull with all his might on the fence when he wants to get to the other side!! I keep telling him hes going to break his teeth!! he doesnt seem to care!

But yes I agree I can see where Mia's offspring have the same traits that she has from her wooing bark to breaking though gates:rolleyes2:

You may have the quiet version of a sheltie..Congrats!! they are rare:lol: And it wont take much to undo that quiet!! Enjoy it while it lasts!!

I recommend you make him stop biting the fence. Beckon broke a canine doing that -- to the tune of $300, I might add.

Yes I do! I yell for him to stop it and he does...but thankfully its not the thick link of chain link its garden fencing so it does give....but still!!!!!!!

Jasper was the one here, that totally changed the older he got. I would say,,,gee he has not barked at all.I was getting worried. He never really became a barker till he was almost 6 months old or older. He just would not bark.

Now he is the king of all barkers outside.I swear he barks if a butterfly should dare get to close to his fence!
And he spins~
He has come out of his shell of shyness in a big way,and loves to be coddled & loved on. Back when he was 7-8 months old,it was'nt happining.

Trapp just is plain thoughtful & kind.He always has been that way. He does'nt spin,or guard his fenceline like his half brother.

Sca has changed a bunch in some ways and not at all in others, kind of hard to explain. As to barking he has never been a huge barker. He barks when he is sassing for food or something (doesn't work but he tries). Otherwise he is a quiet or a big grumbler. At flyball he comes in barks hi then is quiet unless someone is running then :o.

Interesting question!

I always thought that Bacca was a terror until I brought Indy home. Bacca was always chasing me and chewing at me and generally being a nuisance.

Then Indy came home, and suddenly Bacca settled right down and became the lord of realm... He is my quiet boy, calm, cool, laid back....unless he feels like Indy needs to be put in his place.

Indy was devil dog from the start. And still is. But lately, I've noticed Bacca changing as well. If Indy isn't outside fulfilling his guard dog duties, and Bacca is, then suddenly he now seems compelled to bark, bark at the passerbys!

Long way of saying that I think they do change some, but still stay mostly true to themselves. Bacca is clearly more aggressive then he was before, but he is still my big couch potatoe. And I'm still convinced Indy has ADD.
