How to stop the toilet paper bandit

LOL maybe??? So far I’ve only had female shelties and the first one wasn’t so much bossy as she was sassy. Missy is definitely bossy. And sassy. And everything between. And she still nips me when she’s excited about playing. Sometimes it’s incidental contact, but most of the time it’s plain nipping. She ripped a hole in my shirt back in May.

Thankfully she never got into tearing up toilet paper. I’m not sure how I would handle that!
 
Cooper only bothered the toilet paper in the powder room! With Covid and no visitors I put the toilet paper on the bathroom counter for 3 months after that I put a roll with just the last of the toilet paper back on the holder for about the same length of time. On Mother’s Day of this year my daughter was coming for a quick visit and I put the whole roll back on the holder!! Coop hasn’t touched it!! Not sure if he just forgot about it or at the old age now of almost 2 1/2 he has decided he has better things to play with and of course now as I type this he will most likely grab it later today and tear it apart! lol

I’ve just recently started doing macrame (on top of the dog leads I make) and came across this photo...
As tacky as this would look I’m thinking this is the perfect way to put a stop to this bad behaviour :ROFLMAO:
Her bad behaviour know no bounds lol...I caught her picking the ripe cherry tomatoes off the plant today...she’d watched me do it yesterday! One time...she’s a fast learner. And of course there’s the couch...her new favourite place to sleep lol!

Brodie is a toilet paper chewer - then he whines to get you to come see his artwork! We kept the toilet paper on the counter for a while - a peeve of mine but... - apparently my kids inherited the peeve since the roll went back up when our son came home from college! Brodie's definitely been better but still does on occasion. I flipped the roll to hang the opposite that it was and then we run our fingers across that loose one at the end so it appears to be just a roll - it's that one piece hanging there that is like candy at the end of a stick to Brodie.

Deacon LOVES paper towels and napkins and delights in shredding them. Begs for them at the table, steals off of laps - while Brodie sits there and begs for food.
