How to tire a sheltie indoors?

We tried the stairs thing here too... it worked pretty well... until he just got bored and quit chasing the ball. He's not much of a retreiver... he's more of just a chaser... and even that loses it's appeal for him pretty quickly.

It's been pouring cats and dogs here for a week now. We've managed to get out for some brief trips to the park... 30 mins or so of playing "chase the ball, carry it back 1/2 way and then lose interest".

I'm looking into doggie daycare for him. Even just 1/2 days a couple of times per week. Especially now that puppy kindergarten is finished... he needs the socialization until basic obedience starts up next month.

Interesting idea. He has been a lovable dog today. I have had a headache that varies between blinding/stomach churning and just a headache. Instead of being a terror he has been a calm and even a lovie couch dog. In a better moment I did get him some frisbee and tennis ball time but he has been an angel all day. Mr Sca is growing up

You doing ok today, Sheep?
