Humping

Yep, cleaning out the attics the other day and threw down some stuffed animals for the Tag Sale, and I look down the stairwell and there is MMM.............enjoying himself quite well!!!:uhoh:

I agree with missjennygirl..........a "stop that" (or whatever you use) and enforce it.

I had to climb down out of the attic and enforce it but if you don't stop it now, he will find the most embarrassing moments to have fun at your expense!!!!:eek2::mad:

Just tell 'em they'll go blind if they keep doing that.

Oh boy, I have two intact males, and they don't run around trying that. They're the biggest wusses ever. Makes me glad the girls are in charge in my house...

Romeo lives up to his name. He humps things. And dogs. He'll hump his large alligator soft toy (I wash it often) so I've thought him Off and he'll relunctantly unstraddle the toy. At first I had to clap my hands or bang a pot or something to get him to focus and get off but over time it got easier and he'd stop with a word.

With females at the dog run, he will give chase and because it's stressful for the girls (tho' sometimes they are quite the tease!) I will say "Enough" and grab hold of him if he gets too excited and sit him down until he calms. He'll go after spayed females too. Sheesh. :rolleyes2:

I am giggling as I read these answers out loud to my husband.

Good to know Bentley isn't the only one. I guess it's weirder to us (humans) than it is to them!
