Well today in my household will be the day to beat all days as far as doggy heaven is concerned!
That cuteness will be well rewarded!

Yesterday I made a cake for Blueberry’s birthday (today) and I have pork tenderloin drying on the dehydrator as well as pumpkin cookies and sweet potato chews. Yesterday I dried green banana biscotti (I bake at a low temp and finish off on the dehydrator to fully dry it) and banana bread.
It’s no wonder I woke up at 6:30 this morning….the dogs were probably staring at me sleeping encouraging me to get up…the dehydrator was going all night just across the hall:ROFLMAO:

on top of all that it’s the equivalent of the Super Bowl today here in Canada (the Grey Cup…our CFL game) and my team is in it so PARTYYYYY time:lol:!
Lots of goodies to be had and opportunities for the dogs to steal!
I will do up a small tray of veggies so the dogs aren’t left out of the fun!
The dog’s will be practicing their mooching skills today!!!

First, Happy Birthday Blueberry...and wow- that sounds like Sheltie heaven.... I just made jerky in my dehydrator- some for the dogs and some with stuff on it for me. Every time I open the refrigerator I have two dogs helping me look for the jerky (ps I know where it is but I have help anyway). When I give them a piece it is gone so quickly I am not even sure they know what it was??? Hope your team does well but hey it is the party that counts.
 
It is so nice to be able to have two Shelties at once. They do support each other and make each other secure. I've lived in abroad several times and it was always so nice to have someone who understood my language around --as they do theirs.. not that they don't know a heck of a lot about what we say and what we do-- Training humans is a very very difficult and often frustrating task.
 
Happy Birthday Blueberry!!!! The pics of Finnie.... well the black and white is just amazing.... but those eyes in the second.... they look into your soul.... saying 'feed me hoooman.... love on me hooooman....' I can't imagine not being a slave to that poor boy!

Finnie is one of a kind when it comes to getting what he wants! He’s got the mooching game down pat! He will tell you exactly what he wants with just a look at the plate and then at you. Over and over again! And if you don’t understand him then the whining will begin, very softly at first and then louder. He’s good at it :lol:
And he’s a sweetheart and generally a good boy with the exception of the barking lol…and he’s most definitely a mama’s boy!
