So haapy to heal her foot is doing better now. What did the vet say today when you gave them the total pads so far.

We have to keep the bathroom door "completely shut" when we leave Mally home alone and also one of the bedroom doors. He has enough space to roam, with those 2 doors completely closed. I would keep her totally out of the bathroom if you can.
Prayers going up for her that she's alright.
I just wanted to add to this that they make dog-proof litter boxes... I haven't tried it but the reviews on Amazon seem positive. Maybe it'd be worth it to try it out.

And as for poor little Lottie, I hope she's out of the woods and feels better soon.
Well, I thought we were done, but she has done some gagging this evening which makes me think something's about to come up.
I can't believe all the stories of things coming up in tact and after so long. It's crazy, isn't it?
We were back at the vet for her foot this morning and it is looking great! Tonight she has no bandage at all, just a little sock to keep it clean. We go back Friday and I think we're finally done! She's putting weight on the foot, jumping off the couch, trotting around the yard and following me everywhere.
Maybe life is going to get back to normal! That would be awesome!
