I was tortured!

How awesome! Just to keep everybody in the loop, it turns out that Spitfire and Lerwick are littermates! Uncanny resemblance explained. :biggrin2:

Mr Lerwick looks bigger though. Spitfire is around 12" still. Maybe one day we can get them together, though Spitfire says he would bring his giagantic body guard.

Yes, Lerwick is bigger. I haven't measured him lately, but a month or so ago he was 16" tall. I'm not sure how accurate the measurement was, since he didn't really feel like standing still for me :rolleyes2: but yes, definitely bigger than Spitfire.

It would be fun to get them together... and of course Spitfire could bring Sca! Hopefully Lerwick would not embarrass me by being terrified of Team S... but that's probably too much to ask.:smile2: He is still pretty skittish around other dogs, and we have no idea why. :confused2: At least he doesn't run away anymore when a dog tries to sniff him.

Sca is mister gentleman, very passive for a Sheltie. I bet Lerwick and Spitfire would remember each other.

I bet they would, too. And I'm sure Sca wouldn't be particularly intimidating. Lerwick is getting better about other dogs... slowly. Very slowly. Unfortunately, we don't have the wherewithal to enroll him in any training classes or anything at the moment, and our current social circle is sadly lacking in dog people, so the only chance for socialization with other dogs that we have right now is random encounters at the local dog parks, and well, I don't need to tell you how hit-and-miss that can be. There was one magical day where there were two Shelties, and a Mini Aussie at the dog park, and Lerwick ran around with them a bit, before he remembered that they were dogs, and dogs are scary. But hey... for 5 minutes, I had a normal dog, LOL.

Spitfire would terrorize him. He attacks Sca all the time :rolleyes2:

Well, that'd just be Lerwick's comeuppance for terrorizing the cat, I suppose. Once Lerwick got over being afraid of Majo (and she of him), he decided she was one of his toys. He spends a great portion of the day trying to get her to chase him so he can have an excuse to have the zoomies.
