I have to praise him.. HE LOVES being called a GOOD BOY!!! LOVES IT!!! They absolutely understand!!! I praise him for doing it in the yard and he looks at me wags his tail... big grin and he runs as fast as he can and jumps into my arms...which is sweet and I like it.... but he is all snowy and wet... I am happy he trusts me to catch him so I guess I can live with being a little wet! :biggrin2: ( he never does that with anyone else).
 
Job well done Sheltie Guy and Snickers. That has to be a big relief more ways then one. Stay safe in this weather your having.

I have always wanted my dogs to jump up into my arms! None of them will even try. :(

Wow, that is awesome! I would put up with a snowy body coming at me if mine did that!! That would definitely be one of those 'you can't help but smile' moments!

I sure hope he still takes me to where the magic treez are. He sayz he wills when weather is nice. Hopes he doosnt forgets!!
 
Wow this is so informative. Even just owning Mozart of 3 days I can see the stubbornness in sheltie. He doesn't hold his morning pee...guess its a bit "big" for puppy to hold but he would hold the in between pees! I've timed him and I know he needs to go every 1/2 hr but every time I put him on the pee pad he would just stand there (for as long as I can hold him hostage there without feeling guilty - longest run so far 1 hr) and as soon as he is out (less then a minute) he's done it on the floor! I would love to train him to pee and poo on command but he doesn't display any telltale signs for pee. Just stand and go! No sniffing, no circling, no leg up, nothing! :no: Poo is not too bad cuz he lift his tail up but the pee thing is driving me nuts!
 
Watch his tail both Sca and Spitfire raise theirs. Sca was easy since he is like a tipup and big, Spitfire is more subtle.
