My good Sheltie friend in town who has Meadow's BFF and does high level agility with her is getting a puppy!!!! An adorable Tri girl who at 7 weeks old, is all over the tiny slide and other mini equipment and is apparently fearless. My friend will start her in agility when she is old enough. And the best part? She's from Juno's breeder, and is Juno's cousin! Her mother and Juno's dad were littermates.

The funny part is, since she particularly wanted a Tri girl, she was having difficulty finding one. On several lists but no results. So I offered to reach out to Juno's breeder. I texted her that my friend was looking for a Tri girl agility prospect, and was she anticipating any upcoming puppies? Within minutes I had this reply: "Oh, do I have a girl! She is fearless." Then a short video of her climbing all over the slide. Another instance of things happening just as they were meant to! I believe she is coming down here mid August. :biggrin2:

The next best thing to getting a puppy is your friend getting a puppy! You get to enjoy seeing it grow up without all the fun of housebreaking it etc lol!
I can’t wait to see pictures of this puppy (although my initial thoughts when I saw your title was that YOU were getting a puppy lol!)

I'd been looking for a tri after I lost Jocu- tri is now the only color that I haven't had. but I wanted one with a blaze- came close but the breeder decided to keep that puppy for show:(( so I had to keep looking. then when Destin's breeder had Reggie available I told my friend that my tri with a blaze had a lot of gray:winkgrin::lol:
I totally understand about nothing being available when you want something specific...................

Isn't it just the best feeling when you can connect someone you like with the puppy they really want! It's the next best thing to getting one yourself (which I admit I thought was the case when I saw your thread title! 🤣 ) Maybe even better because you have the joy of watching it grow and sharing it without any of the house breaking etc! Congratulations to you and your friend!
