My first rental home here back in the 70's was LOADED with ticks! What a nightmare! Basically had to fumigate everything when I moved from that house...

Yuck. My friend in Missouri got the babesiosis illness from a tick and was very ill. Gives me the heebie-jeebies. Interesting and concise info, Margi.

Ticks are the most disgusting bug out there, I guess because they suck your blood! Years ago we didn’t have the black legged ticks here, they’re moving further and further north every year.

Nothing like getting sceeved having my morning coffee.... ticks...eeeewwwww, so sceevy... and am here in CT. We have ticks year round actually unless we have elongated snow cover with temps below freezing. We have a very high incidence of Lyme's in the off season because folks think because the season name changes, they don't have to worry about Lyme's.
