Hello Donna, Cotton and Barney

Toffee and I are just starting out in agility since a year ago and we are doing some fun matches and getting used to the environments before we trial for real... I can't wait to see your photos and please let there be videos

I have a video of Barney in an agility trial run. He is not old enough yet to compete in ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America) trials - they have to be at least 18 months - but they allow them to participate as FEO - for exhibit only. It is like a fun match in some ways - no qualifying scores and they make you jump them at a lower height - but you do have a judge, the actual trial atmosphere and no treats or toys in the ring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_XqhW_kBfw

Cotton is an American Eskimo (Eskie). She's about 2-1/2. Barney is 16 months.

Thanks, too, for all of the wonderful welcomes!! My Barney-boy amazes me everyday - he is a total delight. I've found, too, that Sheltie-people are pretty amazing too!

I love ASCA ... and NADAC. Not quite so excited (yet anyway) about AKC or USDAA.

I'm lucky that there are lots of venues to choose from around this area. It is getting a "little" too hot for as many competitions right now, but generally, you can compete every single weekend if you want without traveling very far.
