Um sorry, Bailey is the overall #1 name, I seen. It is not usual to see several Bailey's in one day. I counted, our record was 9.

One time we had 4 Bailey Nelson's dropped off in the clinic. I said "Wow that must be all the Bailey Nelsons we have. No we had 9 Bailey Nelsons(minnesota remember) in the computer.:eek2: Labeling nightmare I tell you.

I knew it was a popular boy's name, but didn't realize it was popular for girls too. I chose that name because I wanted an alcohol name that started with a "B". I wanted to name her after my sheltie angel Brandie Alexandra. I promise my next sheltie will not have a common name.
 
Everett received his name in tribute to a wonderful old North Dakota farmer I met when I was stationed there. (Everett Moll) He was 95 at the time and still drove, still helped on his sons farm. He made it 100 before he passed.
He was the nicest man, and Everett the dog has done his name justice.

When the time comes for a new puppy, and if it is a female, her name will be Emma, after Everett's wife. Even tho we just had a niece names Emma, I had this name chosen first and they will have to share :biggrin2:

Some people call him Evert :mad:
 
I've always liked the name Jacob,and actually mentioned it to Brian,to give to Jasper.But since Jasper is "Brian's dog"..he said nope,he's going to stay as Jasper. It suits him well.

He often calles him "super Jasper":biggrin2:
 
Iris didnt make the list (shes named after a flower, I enjoy stating the obvious)

I used to have an English Springer Spaniel named Jake...
