Oh, Meggie has this one down to a science! I'll give them both chews, Cooper softens his quicker, which is how Meggie likes them.

Meggie will fake that she needs to go out. When I say, "Do you have to go potty," they both run to the door. I open the door and Cooper runs out, but Meggie runs back into the house and takes his chew. It happens EVERY time, but dopey mom doesn't remember until Meggie runs back inot the house each time.

Lucky does this, pretends he is going out, Lady runs out, and he stays in. That is how he receives his alone time with me, so we play for quite awhile. Lady is in the back going after a squirrel, and guarding the yard.

Lady, she puts her favorite toys on my bed, where I make the bed, or change the bedding, the toys are removed and then back on the bed. If I put those toys on the floor, she will throw them down the steps, so I trip the next morning going down to the kitchen. Oh yes they will be on a step. Loves to hear the thump thump sound too. She is fun alright.

Yes, that's exactly how it goes here! Bacca likes his already pre-chewed as well. Somehow the chews always end up outside and a battle begins for the "softened" chew.
