Brodie marked - he was 8 1/2 months I believe. I had wanted to wait the year but the vet felt nipping the marking in the bud is most important; hard to stop when it becomes a habit when older.
Deacon had an undescended testicle - Brodie did as well and is supposedly fairly common in shelties to be slow to drop in place from reading. Brodies came down but Deacon's was way out of range so he was done fairly early as he had 2 incisions - the tiny one 'there' and the big one on his side.
