Joining Local Sheltie Club

We have three within shouting distance. I'm becoming an associate member of the Central Virginia Shetland Sheepdog Club. We're hosting the ASSA Nationals in April - wahoo!!!

Oh I so hope to go to it! But I'll probably have to go sheltie less

Interesting but Spitfire is the only pretty one in the house so he has to do flyball (though it might be fun to got to Decatur to see)

Though isn't it strange to have two back to back in the same place and one during the week? Or is that normal in conformation?

I believe that they are cooperating in having their shows together........
a lot of separate clubs will get together and have a little cluster of shows at the same place for a couple of days- each club does one or two days- probably some cost savings there...

nearest sheltie club to me right now is the Chesapeake, VA one being at an hour away... when I move the closest will be Pittsburgh, PA about an hour and half.

I have met the president of the Blue Ridge club. Allison helped me a lot showing me some grooming tricks when I took Fletcher to the Manassas show in April.

Wishing for a cluster of obedience trials, agility trials and herding events! Would love to see a performance based WEEK of sheltie awesomeness!!!

My favorite Nationals experience... (Perry, GA) the parade of rescue performance dogs. Bobby made me sooo proud.
