Jubilee

Thanks everyone, it has been a crazy 4 days over here with the Jubilee. Everywhere seemed to go all out and it has been quite the experience! I havve been expecting Monty to ruin some part of it but he has actually behaved quite well (although he did hurt his mouth running head first into a buffet table but it appeared to just be sore...no damage to him or the table :rolleyes2:)

So I am the only one that was waiting for Monty did ____ to the queen?

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Very cool, Darren! It sounds like Monty may actually know when to hold his fire! At least for the Queen, so not too high a bar LOL. :ROFLMAO: Seriously, I have Royal envy this week. No one does pomp and circumstance like you guys. I love it! :love: Great pictures, thanks!
And now that the Jubilee is over, we can return to our normal Monty..... :hide

:ROFLMAO: So he will behave for the Queen, do you think she will let us do sleepovers at Windsor :lol:
There has been plenty pomp this past weekend Ann, I've never seen everyone get involved quite like this haha.

Music has charms to soothe the savage beast ... and Monty

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well my three are sleeping in front of the Jubilee concert and not stirring, so they aren't as musical as Monty. Although when I get my flute out Kismet is entranced. Was it a particular kind of music - Deska really loved swing music, go figure.

Bit disappointed with how lack lustre the response to the jubilee is here. Although maybe things will pick up on the Queen's bday long weekend next weekend. It's so damn cold and wet atm though that I know I wont be venturing to any celebrations.

Aww I love that Kismet enjoys your flute! Monty has never bothered himself with music but this is the first time we've really been to someone singing these kind of older, softer more harmonious songs. It had him transfixed, I'm going to have to become their travelling groupy :ROFLMAO:
I hope things picked up for you but It's a lot harder for everyone to get in the mood when the weather is cold and wet.

Thanks Chris, It's now Montys song, it's the one that got his biggest reaction. He loved them all but that one he moved as close as he could and then froze until it finished!
Darren I'm not surprised about the music and Monty. I'll never forget when I brought Sandstorm to my parents house and put on a jazz album for my mother, the clarinet hit a gorgeous note and Sandstorm sat right up, looked at me, cocked his head and loved it, he didn't move. I put it on when we rode in the car, it made him so happy.
