Just out of curiosity

I agree with what several of you are saying about dog parks-- if mine were more interested in playing I might take them to a local one which usually only has a few dogs there but really mine play with each other and have shown no interest in other dogs except when they "invade" our house. Even then they go MEH after a few minutes. When we are out for walks they stand still and let other dogs sniff them, not so much sniffing back and no tail wagging. But at least they are not afraid just "OK can we go nowish". I think things can get out of hand at a dog park, their often are messes left in the grass and a perfect place for viruses..

My brother in law came by yesterday again with his dogs and it just makes me laugh how NEEDY my dogs become for affection from me the minute his dogs walk in the door:ROFLMAO:.
I stopped to pat his one dog and Finnie was immediately beside me CRYING…no me me me…and Blueberry standing and putting her front paws on my butt…pat me…pay attention to meeeee…
They normally leave me alone (relatively) when I’m busy doing stuff in the house (cleaning etc) but not when the interlopers are here
