I used to use a dremel. how do you keep it from getting the claw too hot, the noise the vibration..and yes the occasional fur grab. Now is just use a really good sharp set of cutters-- my female is OK lets get this over with but the male is now way Jose...he is a one claw at a timer...

I quickly touch each side of the nail…short bursts (medium) and then go back on low to clean them up. I do have the occasional fur grab…a quick sorry…sorry and they barely notice it. Sometimes I wish I used a towel for their chest fur and I will sometimes tuck their tail under my foot lol!
I find with the dremel I can get their nails shorter because I can shape the nail and make the quick go up the nail. I swear I have to do them every week!

Just like my female-- Ms princess... but the male is like - no touchee until I am sure you are not here to eat me...

Piper also loves everyone. Finnie loves you but must bark for 2 minutes first before allowing pats! And then he’s crazy excited! lol
