Just When Things are Going really welll......(another long rant)

You have to say "watch me" before she reacts to the dog. So catch her when she spots the dog, but before she starts lunging and barking...if that's possible. Also, practice "watch me" when nothing reactive is going on, just randomly on your walk.

Ahhhhhhhh, yes! Thank you! It makes perfect sense! She got taught "watch me" a long time ago and I use it at least two or three times a day indoors. I understand about catching her before the lunging and acting up starts. Everything totally caught me by suprise this morning because the dog barking and charging happened so unexpectedly and I am always surprised how fast Ellie is! She reacted while I was still saying "huh?" lol.

I know, this is me. MMM always sees, hears, smells things 5 minutes before it has even registered in my brain...........I am like "huh, what, where, when, who, WAIT!!!!!!"
