Katy crossed the Rainbow Bridge last Monday. She had tested positive for Cushings and originally we hoped she was responding to the meds but she developed an additional intestinal issue and stopped eating. When she stopped being able to process baby food we knew the end was near but our Vet isn't open on Mondays. Katy passed at home last Monday.

Run free over the Rainbow Bridge my dear girl. I know you and Bailey are together there.

So sorry to hear about Katy's passing and her suffering. I had a sheltie who had cushings and developed diabetes- he was the best calmest sheltied ever and true gentle man- the diabetes eventually got him and we had to end his suffering--I still catch my breath when I see pictures of him and remember-- he was our second ever sheltie..they live on in our memory but that is never enough.
