    So sorry to hear about Katy's passing and her suffering. I had a sheltie who had cushings and developed diabetes- he was the best calmest sheltied ever and true gentle man- the diabetes eventually got him and we had to end his suffering--I still catch my breath when I see pictures of him and remember-- he was our second ever sheltie..they live on in our memory but that is never enough.
