Kirkland Flea and Tick

My husband was so happy today - he came home from Costco with Kirkland Flea and Tick control. It has 6 doses!! It costs 19.95. It scares me - it's twice as many doses as Frontline for half as much. I've googled it and found some information but not much. Has anyone tried it or does anyone know anything about it? I'm really afraid to try anything on my Bear - we lost our two Shelties last year and I'm so hesitant to try anything that might be harmful to this little guy. Thanks for any responses!

I had never heard of this until today. My mom got some for her dog.

He hasn't had an trouble as she already gave him a dose. I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone else has to say.

I agree with Mary. I have heard really bad stories about the inexpensive store flea/tick repellants that are coming out. I wouldn't touch one. You're better off using something holistic like apple cider and water or Sergeants Natural Defense (also very cheap and all natural ingredients) if you don't want to use the chemicals.

Even if you don't see an adverse reaction right away, you don't know what impact these meds can have on your dog's liver, kidneys or nervous system in a year or two.
