Koji's first (real) Autumn

I so need to get out and shoot real photos. But I think it may be too late.

Here's a cellphone photo of Koji in the leaves.

Koji cracks me up. His antics regarding the leaves have been very entertaining. There's this area off of the sidewalk where the leaves just collect. Instead of going on the grass, he decides he likes to go pee on the leaves. So yup, he starts tromping through the leaves and then........there he goes. LOL.

The other thing is that he likes to pick up things on the ground. If it's a contrasting color, it's food, or so he hopes. He's been picking up leaves and walking around with them in his mouth. Thankfully, he's not really eating them. I wish I could get a photo of him, but when I stop, he drops it. Such a silly boy.

I suppose he's never really seen leaves like this everywhere, so it's new to him too. :) Maybe if the weather clears, I'll take him to a park and get some photos with my real camera.
 
That's a beautiful photo! Hanna is also enjoying the leaves, they pile up on the deck and in corners around the house and she has to jump in them.

We don't have any fall leaves yet, but the trees are starting to change colors, so hopefully within the next few days I'll be able to post my own fall pix.:yes:
 
this is Zander's first fall with me....and I have a big yard, with leaves.......
which he thinks are all fun new toys, and brings them in the house and puts them everywhere, even in the toy boxes:rolleyes2:

Well, he does sometimes. But typically, it's like he's carrying it around. Or it's just stuck in his mouth. I wouldn't discount that, he's strange. In CA, most trees don't change colors and if they do, they're few and far between. Where Right next to my apt, there's tons of trees that leaves have changed (yellow, orange, red, etc - so beautiful). And then it rains and the wind blows and all the leaves fall off. I hear autumn here lasts for maybe a month because the rain/wind turns the trees bare fast.

LOL. Love that. Koji hasn't done that, but he wants to chase them when the wind kicks up.
