Kong Stuffers

I put vanilla yogurt in them and froze it. I've also put the actual Kong chews made for the Kongs in them.

I put canned food as well, and freeze it.

Sometimes I use yogurt and leftover meat from our dinner and freeze that as well.

I find commercial stuffing horrible so we only use whatever we can think of at home... basically any pureed/ grated fruits or veggies your pup might like and /or pureed meats with any fatty foods like soft cheese, peanut butter or yogurt, better frozen as it is more challenged to lick it out...
sometimes I fill part of it with kibble and top it with above stuffing...

I fill mine with sharp cheddar cheese and then slather some peanut butter around the rim. I also use the crunch treats, and sometimes kibble.

I use canned food and canned green tripe (coz that's the only way we get 'em here!!) and also mince meat. If I cook I'll mash cooked rice and sausages and use that to stuff too. Everything goes into the freezer.
I've cooked ham and egg and stuffed that in too. Don't think I froze that one!

More Ideas for Kong Stuffing

Hi Everyone :smile2:

Get yourself a bunch of Kongs...you will always have some ready to grab out of the freezer while the others are in the dishwasher

There are lots of things you can stuff a Kong with:

natural peanut butter
oatmeal
their food
chicken/beef/veggie broth
unsweetened applesauce
carrots
yams
yogurt
food mixed w/ chicken broth
bananas
pumpkin
peaches
pears
apples
peas
blueberries
green beans

***anything your dog likes

Remember: no grapes, onions, chocolate or raisins

*** I use the magic bullet or a food processor & chop up what she likes and make a big batch of Kongs & freeze them

Between the Kongs & the bones from the butcher, there is some silence in this house
